For five days the motorist protection local association kulmbach went to the tyrolean mountains. The travel group took up quarters in feichten in the kaunertal valley. Already the arrival in the small town was quite atmospheric, the church host welcomed the group musically with the ship's piano. From the very first moment, the travelers felt at home in the hotel and in the mountain village of feichten.
The KS-ortsverein visited the pilgrimage church in kaltenbrunn and then drove over the glacier panorama trail to the kaunertaler glacier.
Fantastic views of the magnificent tyrolean mountains were offered to the tour group, even if some of them felt a little queasy on the narrow roads and serpentines. Past the gepatschstausee the tour led from the alpine meadows up to the eternal ice at 2750 meters. Day 3 brought an excursion to the otztal valley and a stay in imst, with a stroll through the town. On the way back they visited a bacon factory in landeck, where they tasted and bought a lot of bacon. There was a lot of fun in the hotel in the evening, when some of the participants performed as funny musicians.
On the fourth day, the journey continued over the reschenpab to the reschensee lake with its sunken village, of which only the church tower can be seen as a landmark, and on to the vinschgau region in south tyrol. The destination was the picturesque town of glurns, the smallest town in italy.
With all the many impressions, the last day was spent heading home.
