About kelanie1

I am a writer of fiction and erotica. Loving life and what it has to offer.

Who Am I?

Welcome to my blog! I write under the pen name Kelanie Black, and I’m excited to share my journey with my readers. Here’s a little about me.

I knew from the age of twelve that I loved writing song lyrics, so I did that until I was thirteen. I took a break, and I had an idea for a story rolling around in my head about a pregnant teenager. I wrote two stories for that idea, but I gave up on that after I hit a dead end with the plot.

My fiction series, The Beat, is by far my favorite work in progress. I started writing it when I was fourteen, taking experiences from my own life as a section leader of a percussion section, to be the original plot. It has lots of twists and turns, not only with marching band but in the main character, Tamika’s, personal life as well. I finished Brutality, the seventh book in the series in 2017, and I’m unsure if there will  be an eighth book.

I am currently in the editing process for my BDSM erotica collection of short stories. This collection features all types of implements such as canes, paddles, and more. It also features many different dynamics such as vanilla, d/s, and slave/master. I started writing it last summer, and I am hoping to have it published this June.

Personal Things To Note

I am blind, but it doesn’t stop me nor does it define me. I have been blind since birth, and I have accomplished some great things:

• I participated in the Ohio State School for the Blind Marching band.

• We were the first blind marching band to attend The Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, California. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my high school years.

• I am in college, studying to become a child psychologist. I want to help children suffering from bipolar disorder and depression. I also want to work with children with a variety of disabilities.

I have never been ashamed of being blind. I encourage questions of all sorts, because how will you know if you don’t ask?

Thanks for reading!
